He can't help but get close to the mark, treating them as an artistic subject and showing their human side. He can never talk to Robert, but his photos of Robert tell a story.

Thanks! Likely bugged the phones - I had this idea in my head of creating the phone conversation of some lover he's not supposed to see because of reputation and all. Cameras, they can fit just about anywhere these days. ;)
